PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support assembly of an accessory member in a shelf apparatus, which is capable of surely limiting movement in front and back directions, detachably mounting the accessory member such as a drawer unit, a book stand, and a shelf plate inside a space formed of both side plates and a back plate constituting the shelf apparatus and minimizing an increase in a cost, in the shelf apparatus such as a desktop shelf used by being mounted on the rear part of the top plate of a study desk or a book shelf used by being provided together in back of or on the side of the study desk. SOLUTION: On the side face of both side plates constituting the shelf apparatus or a partition plate or the like provided between both side plates, a linear dowel 2 is roughly horizontally attached or a plurality of pin dowels are roughly horizontally arranged and attached at an interval at the front and back. On both side end faces of the accessory member 1 detachably mounted between both side plates or between the side plate and the partition plate, a support groove 3 opened on the back side for slidably receiving the linear dowel or the plurality of pin dowels is formed. A recessed step part 4 for engaging the linear dowel or the plurality of pin dowels is continuously formed at the upper part of the support groove and at a fore-and-aft intermediate position of the accessory member.
