PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning apparatus capable of surely preventing a malfunction of an elevation locking structure due to a mistake or a mischief by preventing the unlocking of the elevation locking structure with an electric shaver installed in the cleaning apparatus. SOLUTION: This cleaning apparatus includes a base 15, and a housing 16 elevatingly displacing relative to the base 15. Only when the housing 16 is displaced in a retreat position, a tank 19 provided on the base 15 can be taken in/out therefrom. The housing 16 has a loading part 21 for retaining an electric shaver in a cleaning attitude. In a state where an unlocking part 103 of the elevation locking structure for lockingly retaining the housing 16 to prevent its elevating, is disposed at a loading part 21 and the electric shaver is installed in the loading part 21, the outer face of the unlocking part 103 is covered with the electric shaver to prevent the operation of the unlocking part 103.
