PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating type iron system in which an iron base of an iron main body is not at a high temperature at all times even when the power supply of the iron main body is not stopped, and the placing part of an ironing stand can instantaneously be cooled just by making an iron main body away from the ironing stand to eliminate the risk of burn injury. SOLUTION: The induction heating type iron system is composed of the iron main body 20 incorporating an excitation coil 24 supplied with a high frequency current to generate a magnetic flux and the ironing stand 10, and generates induction heating by placing a conductor in a magnetic field by the magnetic flux. The iron base 21 of the iron main body 20 is formed of a dielectric, and the placing part 11 of the ironing stand 10 is formed of a mesh-like conductor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
