The invention relates to a panel and to the manufacture of a wall facing panel (1) from cladding units (2) made of natural stone or of reconstituted material, in which: a reinforced structural coating (15), preferably made of a composite, based on resin and glass fibre, is spread onto a moulding table (14) to a predetermined thickness; before or after the coating (15) is spread, the moulding table (14) is subdivided by means of subdividing walls (16) having random curvatures, so as to define modules of juxtaposable panels (1a, 1b, 1c); the cladding units (2) are applied on the coating (15) before or during curing, in an ordered or random arrangement, depending on the walls (16); and, after the structural coating (15) has at least partially cured, the panel obtained is demoulded. |
