The arrangement has a press gap comprising two dewatering belts (2, 3) combiningly guiding a fibrous material sheet (1) e.g. paper, up to a guiding roller (5) according to the press gap. The dewatering belt (3) is guided away from the fibrous material sheet in a region of the guiding roller. Another press gap comprises a pressing roller (8) that is entangled by a flat transfer belt (4). Another pressing roller (6) is entangled by the dewatering belt, where the latter pressing roller lies below the fibrous material sheet.
