An existing method of heat-treating about the carbon steel forging used as the marine propeller shaft is improved, the fault of product due to the deformation of product is stemmed. As to the thermal process of the carbon steel forging used as the marine propeller shaft, a normalizing step that it heats up the carbon steel forging used as the marine propeller shaft to 880~890‹C; a step for cooling the carbon steel forging which is used in completely among the air to marine propeller shaft; and a tempering step that again heats up the carbon steel forging used as the marine propeller shaft to 550‹C are included. |
