<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution system, a distribution server, a terminal, and a content distributing method by which, when transmission or reception of content data is interrupted, transmission or reception from the interruption point can speedily and easily be restarted. <P>SOLUTION: In the content distribution system on a network where the distribution server and terminal are connected, the distribution server divides the content data into a plurality of ciphered blocks, adds point information to each of the plurality of ciphered block, and performs block ciphering processing. When the reception of the content data is interrupted by the terminal, the terminal or the distribution server records point information on a final ciphered block which has already been received, the distribution server acquires the recorded point information, and a distribution unit starts distributing ciphered blocks which has not been distributed yet among the content data on the basis of the acquired point information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
