<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent printing from being stopped and a printer from being occupied even in the non-display set state of a status monitor, wherein a job transfer stop state may be generated due to the generation of a warning or the like, printing cannot be completed in an unknown origin state, or other users also cannot use the printer. <P>SOLUTION: When a warning and an error are generated in the non-display set state of the status monitor, processing is executed in accordance with a job handling instruction for forcedly continuing printing or canceling the printing without stopping job transfer and waiting the printing. When errors and warnings are continuously generated in the non-display set state of the status monitor, the status monitor is set to a display state by neglecting the non-display set state of the status monitor and a user is informed of a cause without performing the processing according to job handling processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
