<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem, in an image forming system comprising an image forming apparatus and a post-processing device, that waiting time is required by the image forming apparatus because of post-processing and the service lives of the image forming apparatus, the component parts and the material or the like of the image forming apparatus are shortened due to operation performed during the waiting time. <P>SOLUTION: A pre-stage accumulation means is provided on the upstream side of an accumulation means for accumulating paper bundles, and the paper bundles to be collected and processed are accumulated in the pre-stage accumulation means and the accumulation means, and the paper bundles accumulated in the pre-stage accumulation means are shifted to the accumulation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
