<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector which suppresses the separation of an upper substrate joined to a lower substrate via a bonding member due to heat stress, and also suppresses surface discharging from an upper electrode to a lower electrode. <P>SOLUTION: An active matrix substrate 16 and a glass substrate 32 are joined together at their outer peripheries, so that a junction area between the active matrix substrate 16 and the glass substrate 32 can be reduced. This reduces heat stress developing between the active matrix substrate 16 and glass substrate 32 and an adhesive resin 36 and suppresses the separation of the active matrix substrate 16 and glass substrate 32 joined via the adhesive resin 36. The peripheral end of a semiconductor layer 12 is covered with the adhesive resin 36. Therefore, even if a gap is formed between the peripheral end of the semiconductor layer 12 and the active matrix substrate 16, surface discharging from a bias electrode 18 to a charge collecting electrode 14 through the gap can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
