PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an efficiency and economy of communication using a wireless packet communication network.

SOLUTION: A connection apparatus 1 is interposed between a communication module 20 for connecting to a wireless packet communication network 40 and a host device 10. When it is detected that a TCP packet received from the host device 10 is duplicated, a communication control section 122 of the connection apparatus 1 discards the relevant duplicated packet.
