<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing unit speedily examining a small region, having identical coding conditions from code data, to provide an image processing method and an information recording medium on which the code data is recorded. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing unit has an image coding means for allowing the image data of an image having a plurality of small regions to generate an image code coded, under prescribed coding conditions for each small region; a name space code generation means for generating a name-space code, having name-space information for prescribing the identity of the coding conditions to the small region; and a code data generation means for generating the code data, having the image code and the name space code. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
