<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductor with high performance and excellent reliability which has a stable characteristic without changing an L value by a mounting work or an impact during usage, etc., and also has the necessarily sufficient L value even when the inductor is small and thin. <P>SOLUTION: The inductor includes: a coil 4 with a metallic wire 3 wound therearound; and terminal electrodes 14a, 14b connected to the coil 4. The whole circumference of the coil 4 is coated with a magnetic resin 5 containing magnetic material powder 6, and the coil 4 coated with the magnetic resin 5 is sealed with a sealing member 7 which does not contain the magnetic material powder. Consequently, the magnetic material powder does not come off even by a contact in mounting the inductor or the impact during usage. Thus, the stable L value is kept and also the necessarily sufficient L value is obtained concerning the inductor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
