<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an embossed socket by which an embossed structure is formed in a socket unit and deformation of and damage to the socket do not occur. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the embossed socket includes: first inserting a support rod into an engaging hole of the socket; performing a embossing step to emboss indicia areas at both sides of the socket, respectively; and removing the support rod after completion of the embossing. Since the operation of the embossing applies large force to the socket, when the support rod is inserted into the engaging hole, the embossing force received by the socket is efficiently transmitted to the support rod and reaction force of the support rod provides the effect that the socket is not deformed nor damaged even if the indicia are embossed on the socket. In such way, this method can directly performs the embossing operation on the socket, and the troubles of the deformation and the breakage of the socket do not occur. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
