PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the design of a fastening apparatus having a tolerance adjustment function of a specific type facilitating assembly or disassembly of the fastening apparatus. SOLUTION: The fastening apparatus includes a function of automatically adjusting the tolerance of a spaced distance between components A, B when the component B is fastened to the component A, and comprises an acceptance element 2 and an adjustment element 4 capable of being screwed into the acceptance element by a pair of first screws 28, 48 with a first thread direction and a fastening screw. The fastening screw can be screwed into the acceptance element by a pair of second screws with the reverse thread direction and connected to the adjustment element by removable drag connection, and which can move the adjustment element by turning the fastening screw to adjust the tolerance by moving the adjustment element 4 to abut on the component B. The acceptance element below a flange includes at least one retention protuberance which protrudes in the radial direction and can fix the acceptance element on the component A by positively holding and/or frictionally holding the component A between the flange and at least one retention protuberance.
