PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce loss in a power amplifying circuit which drives a capacitive load. SOLUTION: The power amplifying circuit comprises a pre-amplifying circuit 110 and a BTL-connected amplifying circuit 140 for amplifying input signals Vin and Vip, generating output signals, and driving a piezoelectric loudspeaker 120 as a capacitive load, a current measuring section 131 for detecting a consumption current of the BTL-connected amplifying circuit 140, and a control section 130 for controlling a voltage supplied to the BTL-connected amplifying circuit 140 according to the result of detection by the current measuring section 131 and the output signal of the comparator 132.
