PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump inhibiting occurrence of cavitation by improving a structure of a suction channel and achieving reduction of manufacturing cost and weight. SOLUTION: A pipe body 14 including an inner channel 14a establishing communication between a cover side suction channel 22 and a suction side channel 12 of a vane pump 1 is installed at a bent part between both channels. An inlet part 14b of the inner channel 14a communicates with the body side suction channel 12 and an outlet part 14c of the inner channel 14a communicate with the cover side suction channel 22 at the bent part. The inner channel 14a of the pipe body is formed with gentle curvature radius. The outlet part 14c of the inner channel 14a is arranged with being positively extended to an inside of the inlet part 14b of the cover side suction channel 22. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
