PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a length adjuster for a string-like body, to be used for length adjustment of a stretchable tape for underpants or the like, and enabling a user to easily adjust a length. SOLUTION: The length adjuster has first and second holding pieces which are hingedly connected at one ends, and first and second cover bodies which are hingedly connected at the other ends of the first and second holding pieces. Furthermore, the adjuster has an engaging part which holds the cover body in a closed state when the first and second holding pieces clipping the string-like body, and winding the string-like body therearound is clipped and closed with the first and second cover bodies.
