PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for a hard coat material, which can provide a coating film having high hardness after cured, the cured coating film being hardly damaged, and which provides a cured product hardly causing crack and peeling of a coating film after being applied onto a structure with a three-dimensional shape, and to provide a laminate with a hard coat layer. SOLUTION: A hard coat material is disclosed which is characterized in that a material containing a vinyl polymer having a repeating unit represented by the following formula (1). (In the formula (1), R<SP>1</SP>represents an alkylene group having 2 to 8 carbon atoms; R<SP>2</SP>represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and m represents a positive integer.) is applied onto the structure with a three-dimensional shape.
