PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front part structure for a vehicle body capable of efficiently suppressing retreating of a pedal when load is inputted to a vehicle while suppressing increase of weight and cost as much as possible. SOLUTION: The front part structure for the vehicle body is provided with a steering member 13 extended along a vehicle width direction; a receiving member 29 mounted to the steering member 13; and a brake pedal 35 turnably pivotally supported on a dash panel 51 through a fixing bracket 33. Rearward movement of the brake pedal 35 when load directed to a rear side is inputted to a vehicle front part is suppressed by front load inputted to the receiving member 29 by forwardly moving an occupant.
