The dispenser has a reservoir (1) for containing a fluid product with a dispensing unit (4) e.g. pump, mounted in an outlet (11) to draw and dispense the product from the reservoir. An intake valve is provided for introducing the product into the reservoir and includes a seat (121) and a mobile unit (13) urged by a spring (14) on the seat. A venting channel permits communication of the inside of the reservoir with the outside and has a sealing unit (15) mobile along an axis (Z) between an open position and a closed position. A blocking unit (7``) brings the sealing unit into an open position. An independent claim is also included for a method of filling a fluid product dispenser.
