A multifunctional receptacle comprises a receptacle panel (1), on which are provided a conventional power socket (2) and a USB interface (3). The USB interface (3) is connected to the output terminal of an AC-DC module assembly (4) provided in the panel (1). The AC-DC module assembly (4) comprises a rectification-filter module (41), a modulation-reduction module (42), a current sampling and holding module (43), a voltage reference module (44), and a feedback-control module (45). A first emergency door (6) which can be opened or closed is provided at the USB interface (3), or a second emergency door (7) which can be opened or closed is provided at the conventional power socket (2).
