<p>The inventive device for extracting water from air comprises a refrigerating machine with a heat-removing heat exchanger which is connected to a water condensate collector, an air flow generator which is connected to an air channel consisting of straight, return and reverse segments, heat exchangers with vertical heat exchanging plates which are mounted in the air channel one after another in the direction of the air flow, wherein N cooling heat exchangers and the heat-removing heat exchanger are arranged in series in the straight segment of the air channel, N heating heat exchanges are located in the reverse segment of the air channel, one heating heat exchanger in the reverse segment of the air channel is opposed to each heating heat exchanger in the straight segment, the straight and reverse segments of the air channel have a common outer shell and a baffle which is mounted in the spaces between the heat exchangers and separates the straight segment from the reverse segment, each cooling heat exchanger and each heating heat exchanger opposed thereto are made in the form of a single heat exchanger, each single heat exchanger is provided with a self-contained system for forcedly flowing a liquid heat carrier and the water condensate collector is connected to the single heat exchangers on the side of the straight segment of the air channel.</p> |
