An adjustable drill comprising a drill body having a longitudinal axis, c omprising a face surface comprising an aperture extending into the drill bod y; a directional feature adjacent the aperture extending toward an edge of t he drill body; a longitudinal gullet extending from the face surface along a t least a portion of the drill body; a cartridge adjacent the face surface a nd selectively slidable along the directional feature comprising a slot alon g the directional feature; and a cutting face comprising an insert pocket po sitioned adjacent the edge of the drill body; a fastener through the slot in to the aperture releasably affixing the cartridge to the drill body; and an insert releasably affixed in the insert pocket.
