<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector capable of exhibiting a sufficient clipping strength to a flat cable to securely perform electric conduction while making a connector low-profile. <P>SOLUTION: The connector 20 is provided with a part to be pressed 64, and a pressure strength of a cam 40 of an actuator 12 is transmitted to a base part 61 through the part to be pressed 64, thereby suppressing a lifting of the base part 61, securely clipping the flat cable 200 and performing electric conduction. Further, elastic deformation of the part to be pressed 64 reduces a range of variation in contact pressure at the contact part 62c of a contact beam 62, the range of variation being caused by the variation of a thickness S1, a gap S2, a dimension S3 or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
