PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional waist bag wherein there is a risk of dropping or loosening of hand-held carpentry tools such as pliers, a wrench, a handsaw and screwdrivers, or metal fittings such as screws or bolts, during the work or when the tools etc. are taken in/out because the contents in a main storage part of the waist bag for storing the carpentry tools or metal fittings are frequently taken in/out and the opening of the main storage bag is usually left open, and because taking out/in of the tools is not always visually recognized. SOLUTION: The waist bag is suspended from the waist of a user. The opening of the main storage part of the waist bag has such a rigidity as to retain the width and depth, and is always opened. The height of the opening on the side located in the front of the body of the user when the waist bag is suspended becomes gradually higher from the height on the other side.
