PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmission device for maintaining rationality without increasing memory capacity of a device body even when a specific transmission job enters a standby state due to a communication error. SOLUTION: When a received transmission job cannot be executed due to a communication error and retry is set (S104: YES, S107: YES), whether retry interval is set to a predetermined time or more is determined (S109). The job data of the suspended transmission job are transmitted to a server when it is set to the predetermined time or more (S109: YES, S110), and job data and FW date in the device are erased (S106). When the retry interval is smaller than the predetermined value, the operation of the next job is confirmed, and when the operation thereof is confirmed, the job data of the suspended transmission job are transferred to the server and the job data in the device are erased to give the next transmission job first priority (S111: YES, S112, S114 or S115).
