PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new snoring prevention device that expands a part of a user's neck so as to alleviate its respiratory ailments. SOLUTION: The snoring prevention device to be applied to a pharynx activating region of the user comprises at least an applied-to-skin means, a pressurizing means to pressurize the skin, a connecting means to connect the applied-to-skin means with the pressurizing means. The applied-to-skin means is applied to a part in a vicinity of a carotid artery point of the user's cervical, the connecting means conveys a force from the pressurizing means to the applied-to-skin means when the pressurizing means pressurizes a desirable pressure region, and a tension is applied to the applied-to-skin means so as to expand the part in the vicinity of the carotid artery which reduces snoring.
