PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating auxiliary device for microwave ovens which is capable of preventing the melting of a food wrap caused by its direct contact with foods containing oil content when a user places the foods containing the oil content on a dish, covers the food wrap thereon and heats the foods in a microwave oven, and being stored into a compact shape. SOLUTION: This heating auxiliary device is constituted by vertically forming a plurality of cuts at one end of a thin belt-like heat-resistant sheet, forming a cut to be a projection for hooking at the other end, raising the other cut to be the projection, inserting it into a vertical cut at one end, and stabilizing it to form a ring. A plurality of sizes of rings can be formed by changingly inserting the projection into another vertical cut out of the plurality of vertical cuts so as to respond to the different sizes of dishes placed with foods, this device is placed on the dish, the food wrap is covered thereon to make a clearance between the foods containing the oil content and the food wrap and prevent its direct contact therewith.
