An apparatus and a method for controlling posture of a vehicle are provided to maintain the posture of the vehicle more stably during rotation, rapid starting or rapid braking of the vehicle. An apparatus for controlling posture of a vehicle comprises: a first gear(11) installed on a front end of a lower arm(10) installed on each wheel of the vehicle; a second gear(12) connected to the first gear and installed on a cylinder(30) fixedly installed on a sub-frame(20) of the vehicle; and a control unit into which values of a tilting sensor, pressure values of a brake master cylinder, and RPM(Revolutions Per Minute) values of an engine are inputted, and which controls the cylinder and the second gear.
