<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-bright light source which does not have to prepare a spare light source and is highly reliable at low costs. <P>SOLUTION: An LED light source device 1 comprises a plurality of light-emitting diodes 3, a light guide optical unit 5 for guiding illuminating light emitted from the light-emitting diode 3 to an illuminated zone, a motor 7 for making the light guide optical unit 5 and light-emitting diode 3 relatively move, a light-emitting diode lighting control circuit 33 for blinking and driving the light-emitting diode 3 by synchronizing with relative movement of a motor 7, a light volume sensor 9 for detecting illuminating light light-guided to the illuminated zone, and an abnormality determination means 35 for continuously lighting all light-emitting diodes 3 by stopping blinking and driving in the light-emitting diode lighting control circuit 33 when the light volume of illuminating light detected by the light volume sensor 9 becomes a designated threshold value or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
