PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water closet with a hand wash device which is advantageous in terms of cost by also utilizing a control section built in a flushing water control unit for the control of water for hand wash so as to reduce the number of components. SOLUTION: This water closet A is equipped with the flushing water control unit 2 for controlling the flow of the flushing water so as to be instantaneously discharged into a water closet body 1. In the water closet with the hand wash device, the control section 21 built in the flushing water control unit 2 also controls the ejection of the water for hand wash flowing to a spout 4 of the hand wash device B annexed to the water closet A. The control section 21 built in the flushing water control unit 2 performs control for making the water for hand wash flow to the spout 4 in a delayed manner for a fixed period of time after receiving a signal from a seating sensor 11 provided in the toilet seat of the water closet body 1.
