PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical drainage defoaming device and a drainage bag using the same for preventing drainage from flowing into a water seal part as foam along the upper part of a drainage bag. SOLUTION: In the medical drainage defoaming device 20, an antifoaming agent holding body 22 for holding an antifoaming agent is disposed in a housing tube 34 provided with an inlet hole 38 and an outlet hole 42. The drainage bag 10 comprises a drainage tank 12 for storing the drainage, a flow-in port 14 which is formed at the upper part of the drainage tank 12 to make the drainage flow in, a water seal tank 16 connected to the upper part of the drainage tank 12 at a lower part, and a suction port 18 which is formed at the upper part of the water seal tank 16 and communicates with a negative pressure source.
