<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission wherein breather-blow is prevented from occurring. <P>SOLUTION: The continuously variable transmission 10 is provided with a transmission mechanism 30 including a belt 400 passed around from a primary pulley 250 to a secondary pulley 350, a differential 50 coupled to the transmission mechanism 30 so as to be capable of power-transmission, and a case body 75. In the case body 75, a transmission mechanism chamber 35 and a differential chamber 55 are formed. In the transmission chamber 35, the transmission mechanism 30 is held, and oil is supplied. In the differential chamber 55, the differential 50 is held. The case body 75 includes a partition for demarcating the differential chamber 55. In the case body 75, an oil path is provided, which has an opening in the partition to allow the oil agitated by the belt 400 to flow from the transmission mechanism chamber 35 into the differential chamber 55. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
