<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress low-frequency noise generated by a two-stage pressure-reduction ejector when an ejector refrigerating cycle is started. <P>SOLUTION: The intermediate pressure space volume Vo (mm<SP>3</SP>) between the outlet of the variable restriction mechanism part 18a and the inlet of the second restriction passage 19a of the two-stage pressure-reduction ejector 16 and the restriction passage area S (mm<SP>2</SP>) of the throat part 191a of the second restriction passage 19a are so adjusted that the relation between the intermediate pressure space volume Vo, the restriction passage area S, and the flow velocity vn (mm/s) of the refrigerant passing through the throat part 191a is 0.07≤Vo×S/vn≤0.7.
