PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector capable of positioning and preventing the deflection of a contact by simple structure, and not causing a connection failure by moisture condensation. SOLUTION: In the electric connector having a plurality of contacts 12, a front insert 14, a rear insert 16, a holding means 22, a shell 18, and a retainer ring 24, a bush member 20 having an insert part 202 into which a connection part 125 of the contact 12 is inserted is installed, the bush member 20 is mounted to a recessed part 162 of the rear insert 16, an engaging part 164 projecting outward is formed at the tip of a projecting piece 163 of the rear insert 16, a locking part 143 projecting inward is formed in an insertion recessed part 142 of the font insert 14, and by making the engaging part 164 engaged with the locking part 143, the contact 12 is positioned and the deflection of the contact 12 is prevented, and moreover, countermeasures against a creepage distance are taken, and the prevention of the connection failure caused by the moisture condensation is also performed.
