PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner excellent in development stability while keeping fixability, having a clear image characteristic free from fogging, and excellent in charge stability and durable stability. SOLUTION: This toner is a magnetic toner containing a magnetic toner particle containing at least a bonding resin, a magnetic substance and wax, and at least two kinds of inorganic fine powder, (i) a weight-averaged particle size of the magnetic toner is 4-9μm, (ii) an average circularity of the magnetic toner is 0.95 or more, (iii) a methanol concentration TA is within a range of 50-70 vol.% when a transmittance is 50%, in case of measuring wettability of the magnetic toner to a methanol/water mixture solvent by the transmittance of light having 780 nm of wavelength, and (iv) a uniaxial collapse stress of the magnetic toner after magnetic-attracted satisfies relations of 0.1≤S5≤2.0 and 1.0≤S20≤4.0, where S5 and S20 are respectively the uniaxial collapse stresses (kPa) when the maximum compression stresses are 5 kPa and 20 kPa.
