PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wig base having such a structure that a base net and a foundation net are hardly outstanding at a dividing line part of a wig, and enabling a user to have comfortable wearing feeling without making her (him) feel discomfort. SOLUTION: The wig base has at least a base net 12 having an opening part 14 for the dividing line part 11, a silky raw material 13 and a foundation net 15 used for the opening part 14 of the dividing line part 11: wherein the silky raw material 13 is placed above the opening part 14, the edge part of the foundation net 15 is folded back to the side of the opening part 14 below the opening part 14, and the edge part of the silky raw material 13, the edge part of the opening part 14 and the edge part of the foundation net 15 are sequentially superimposed in order to be sewn up together.
