PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welt structure for a slide fastener, which prevents a fastener slider from engaging with a welt provided for covering a fastener part when sliding a slide fastener used for clothing and accessories, and usually extremely smoothly slides the fastener slider. SOLUTION: A pair of welts which cover the slide fastener from both the sides, are provided on the front of the slide fastener, and a spacer is held between a pair of welts and a fastener tape which forms the slide fastener, the welt, the spacer, and the fastener tape are arranged, and three members of the welt, the spacer, and the fastener tape are fixedly connected to each other, and the welts on both sides are formed in a lifted form relative to the fastener tape by providing a gap between the welts and the fastener tape by the spacer held between the welt and the fastener tape.
