PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a pattern whose color is changed to be expressed even on a hard base material, with respect to a pattern print product and a method of forming a pattern, wherein all or a part of the pattern is sectioned into a plurality of areas on a base material, the pattern line of the adjacent sectioned areas is formed with ruggedness different in direction, the uneven surfaces is subjected to coloring comprising lines or dots in parallel with the pattern line and the color is changed according to a change in viewing angle. SOLUTION: The pattern print product comprises the base material 1 having a metallic thin film layer 2 expressing a rugged pattern line formed on a surface thereof and a transparent film 4 expressing a color pattern comprising the lines or dots parallel to the rugged pattern line, wherein the rugged pattern line and the color pattern are superimposed and laminated.
