The cabinet useful in a drying system for drying and curing raw sausage, comprises a frame (2), racks (3) located on the frame for receiving the product (4) to be treated, wheels located at a base (5) of the cabinet, a heating- and/or a cooling unit, a distribution mechanism for water and/or conditioning means, and a ventilator unit (6) having diffusers (9), each of which consists of perforated steel plates distanced to each other, whose openings support on a gap. A second diffuser is arranged at the cabinet side opposite to a first diffuser. The frame is a hollow profile frame.
