It is intended to provide a cleaning sheet for contact lenses which has a favorable texture in using, can easily remove lipid stains and protein stains sticking to a contact lens merely by washing the contact lens by lightly rubbing, makes it possible to put the contact lens immediately after cleaning by rubbing without rinsing, and is free from dusting from the sheet. A nonwoven fabric (16) having a continuous fiber structure is impregnated with a liquid preparation containing hydroxypropylmethylcellulose having an average molecular weight less than 50,000.
