<p>An air conditioner and a control method thereof are provided to realize system stabilization in a short time and improve system responsibility according to various load conditions such as atmospheric temperature. A method for controlling an air conditioner includes the steps of obtaining at least any one data of the degree of suction superheat or supercool(S12), determining whether the obtained data is proper for normal control(S14), setting the target discharge temperature of a compressor higher than a calculated value therefore if so(S16), while setting the target discharge temperature lower than the calculated value in the other case(S18).</p> |
