<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material and a method for forming a color filter having no gap or level difference between BGR pixels and a black matrix. <P>SOLUTION: (1) The material for forming a color filter comprises: three kinds of laser thermal transfer sheets having at least a photo-thermal conversion layer and an image forming layer of red (R), green (G) or blue (B) on a support; and a wet development transfer sheet having at least a black (K) photosensitive resin layer on a support. (2) The method for forming a color filter comprises: overlapping the thermal transfer sheets described in (1) and an image receiving sheet; imagewisely irradiating the thermal transfer sheet side with a laser beam to form an image of R, G, B on the image receiving sheet; overlapping the wet development transfer sheet described in (1) on the image to transfer the photosensitive resin layer; irradiating the back face of the image receiving sheet with radiation; subjecting the sheet to wet development; and then heat treating the sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
