<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission wherein lubricating oil is efficiently supplied to traction faces formed between each of an input side disc and an output side disc and a power roller to sufficiently cool the traction faces even when the rocking of the power roller is caused by the movement of the discs during torque input. <P>SOLUTION: The toroidal type continuously variable transmission comprises a bearing 24 whose outer ring 28 has a discharge port 95 for discharging lubricating oil to the traction faces formed between each of the input side disc 2A (2B) and the output side disc 53 and the power roller 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
