<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a multi-pixel infrared detector imaging device, which acquires an image through an infrared detector, to always acquire an image of high quality by monitoring states of respective pixels being monitored during the operation thereof and changing registration of defective pixels at need. <P>SOLUTION: In the multi-pixel infrared detector imaging device 100, an infrared detector defective pixel decision unit 120 decides, during the operation thereof, that a pixel of interest is a defective pixel when a state wherein the difference between the output level of the pixel of interest and an average output level of peripheral pixels thereof, is larger than the value obtained by multiplying a standard deviation of output levels of the peripheral pixels by a set coefficient lasts by a predetermined number of frames or a normal pixel when a state wherein the difference is smaller lasts by the predetermined number of frames for each of the pixels constituting an image, and reflects decision results on a defective pixel registration map 116. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
