<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for thermal spray masking, which can easily remove a thermal-sprayed film that has deposited on the inner surface of a masking member with a simple structure, and to provide a film-removing method. <P>SOLUTION: A thermal-sprayed film 25 is formed on the inner surface 29a of a bore in such a state that the masking member 3 is mounted on the upper end face 1a of an engine block 1, with a thermal spraying gun 11. In this step, a thermal-sprayed film 27 is formed even on the inner surface 8 of a masking cylinder of the masking member 3. The masking member 3 has a film-removing claw 15 which can move back and forth, and removes the thermal-sprayed film 27 which has been deposited on the inner surface 8 of the masking cylinder by moving the film-removing claw 15 forward from a state that the head surface 15b exists on the same plane as the inner surface 8 of the masking cylinder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
