<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having further superior cycle characteristics in respective charge voltages in the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which the charge voltage is set 4.25 V or more. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is equipped with a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a nonaqueous electrolyte, and a separator. An open circuit voltage in a completely charged state per a pair of the positive electrode and the negative electrode is 4.25 to 6.00 V. This has a porous insulating layer containing an insulating metal oxide at least at one position between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and the separator contains polyethylene and other materials, and has a trilaminar-structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
