<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed-change controller capable of restraining increase of exhaust emission when being operated from a non-traveling range to a traveling range in an automatic transmission with a catalyst or an air-fuel ratio detection means not suitably working. <P>SOLUTION: The speed-change controller performing speed-change control of the automatic transmission arranged in a power transmission passage between an internal combustion engine in a vehicle equipped with the catalyst and the air-fuel ratio detection means for detecting an air-fuel ratio of exhaust gas and a driving wheel, is provided with an operation detection means for detecting operation in accordance with vehicle stop request by a driver, and a state detecting and estimating means for detecting or estimating the state of at least one of the catalyst and the air-fuel ratio detection means. When operation from the non-traveling range to the traveling range is performed (S30-Y) and operation in accordance with the vehicle stop request is detected (S50-Y), control (S70) is performed for substantially not transmitting driving force of the internal combustion engine to the driving wheel in the automatic transmission based on the detected or estimated result (S20-Y) by the state detecting and estimating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
