<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a side wall, which can reduce the usage of raw materials originated from petroleum resources and can simultaneously achieve both low fuel cost due to low rolling resistance and good resistance to flex cracking growth, and to provide a pneumatic tire having a side wall rubber using the rubber composition for the side walls. <P>SOLUTION: This rubber composition for a side wall comprises 100 pts.mass of a rubber component,≤5 pts.mass of carbon black, 10 to 40 pts.mass of silica, and 5 to 30 pts.mass of an inorganic filler comprising one or more inorganic fillers except carbon black and silica, wherein the rubber component comprises at least one of natural rubber and a modified natural rubber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
